The project involved not only
the design of a new Angioplasty Suite in an existing hospital but
also required the displaced functions to be relocated. Low floor
to floor clearance combined with existing infrastructure became
a primary design challenge. Close coordination between the manufacturer's
representative, the electrical engineer, and the structural engineer
resulted in finding a location for the equipment and meeting specified
requirements for operation. The project required State of California
OSHPD approval.
The suite was complete March
2003. |
